A quick weeknight dinner that is a little different from your normal hamburger.

This recipe came about from my wife and I’s desire for a non-greek lamb burger and a bottle of HP Sauce that was aging away in the back our pantry.

Lamb Burger

A juicy English inspired burger.
Servings 4 people

Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes

Equipment

  • Skillet

Ingredients

Burger Patties

  • 1 lb Ground lamb
  • ½ tbsp Fresh rosemary minced
  • ¼ tbsp Fresh thyme
  • ½ Red onion diced
  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp HP Sauce
  • 1 Garlic clove minced
  • ¼ tsp Ground black pepper

Finished burger components

  • 4 Brioche buns
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Tomato sliced

Instructions

  • Combine all the burger patty ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Form four patties from the meat mixture.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook all four patties flipping once half way through to get an even browning on both sides until the measure 145°F and remove from pan.
  • Place a burger on a bun and top as desired.
  • Enjoy
